1 OF EVERY 44. HELP YOUR CHILD LEARN, GROW, PROSPER.

Video modeling works. Twenty five years ago, John Sprecher and Special Kids pioneered and first published (via the Autism Society of America) the concept of video as an effective modeling and teaching tool for neurodiverse persons with cognitive, developmental or other learning disabilities — including Autism Spectrum, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy and other challenges.

Today, Special Kids is providing new opportunities for a new generation of kids, teens and adults = to benefit by video modeling media, digital social and entertainment stories, and other resources. Welcome to our world of learning, where anything’s possible every day.

WE’RE A NOT-FOR-PROFIT NOW! Our Resources Are Yours For Free. Or For Any Donation.

That’s right. Every Special Kids resource — video modeling media, digital social stories and behavior modeling posters — are yours free. Should you wish to make a donation, we thank you for recognizing our work and efforts. It’s our hope that we help as many children and families as we can, regardless of your ability to pay. It’s about your child’s progress. Our goal? $99,000 to produce 18 all-new video modeling programs for toddlers, kids, teens and even adults. Best of all, your donations are now 100% tax deductible as Special Kids is a DBA of Now I Know Inc., a U.S. registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation.

VIDEO MODELING MEDIA

Special Kids Video Modeling Media pioneered the way for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges to learn via the power of video.

PRACTICAL LEARNING

Special Kids teaches skills including social, self-help, hygiene, written communication, verbal communication, positive behaviors and more.

They’re fun, the entertaining, and they’re a great way to learn all about interacting positively in our community, and with each other.

MODELING POSTERS

Special Kids Step-By-Step Modeling Posters are an innovative way to assign specific, sequential tasks to complete an activity. Our first Modeling Poster features 40 sequential actions for taking a shower.
